  • Negotiate supplier pricing.
  • Analyse and implement cost-reduction opportunities.

Procurement Manager – Asthon A/S, Telford

We are adding a Procurement Manager to our leading facility in Telford.

What we’re offering
  • Competitive basic salary up to £65,000 per annum – depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday 8:45 am – 5 pm
  • Permanent position
  • 23 days holiday, increasing to 25 in year 2
  • Pension scheme

Responsibilities
  • Manage Purchasing team to meet targets
  • Oversee Materials/Warehouse team ensuring smooth inventory flow
  • Conduct stock analysis and lead company stock takes across multiple sites, reporting to senior management
  • Plan the materials team workload
  • Approve purchase orders in line with company procedures
  • Implement call‑off orders, pricing agreements, and contracts
  • Ensure delivery requirements align with production schedule
  • Perform supplier purchase analysis and develop key supplier partnerships
  • Negotiate supplier pricing
  • Analyse and implement cost‑reduction opportunities
  • Liaise with internal departments
