We are currently recruiting for a Proclaim Developer to join our fantastic IT team in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work they do, the service they provide to the business and providing our clients with an efficient and excellent level of service.
We are a highly automated legal services organisation leveraging technology to streamline workflow, reduce manual effort, and deliver exceptional client service. As a Proclaim Developer, you will play a critical role in enhancing, maintaining, and automating our Proclaim case management system to support business efficiency, compliance, and growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment and is passionate about automation, system optimisation, and translating operational needs into smart technical solutions.
Responsibilities to include:
- Design, develop and maintain screens, workflows, tasks, linked actions, reports, auto‑routines and integrations within Proclaim.
- Improve system efficiency through automation of repetitive legal processes (e.g., document generation, task scheduling, email automation, data validation).
- Build and maintain advanced workflows that support high‑volume case progression with minimal manual intervention.
- Enhance the user experience through intuitive interface design and streamlined workflow logic.
Data & Integrations
- Develop and maintain integrations between Proclaim and external systems such as telephony platforms, digital signature providers, document management solutions, CRM systems, finance platforms and client portals.
- Create and optimise SQL queries, MI reports, dashboards and automation triggers.
- Ensure data integrity, security and adherence to legal sector compliance standards (including GDPR)
Support, Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support for Proclaim-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime for legal teams.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis, implement fixes and proactively identify emerging system issues.
- Maintain high-quality documentation of workflows, system changes and development processes.
Business Process Improvement
- Collaborate with legal, operations and support teams to map processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Recommend and deliver enhancements that reduce case-touch time and improve overall productivity.
- Contribute to strategic automation projects, including AI‑assisted workflows, robotic process automation and digital client experiences.
- Compliance, Testing & Governance
Compliance, Testing & Governance
- Ensure all development aligns with governance, change control and audit frameworks.
- Conduct system testing, user acceptance support and post‑deployment monitoring.
- Maintain strong version control and release documentation.
- Strong hands-on experience as a Proclaim Developer (2+ years preferred).
- Deep understanding of Proclaims structure:
- Screens, workflows, DB fields, case types
- Linked actions, documents, returns codes
- Tasks, reports, auto routines
- Proficiency with SQL (queries, joins, data extraction, MI reporting).
- Experience building automated workflows in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to translate operational requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working within change control and release management processes.
- Experience with API integrations (REST, JSON, XML) or web services.
- Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Logic Apps – i.e. Toca.io).
- Knowledge of legal processes (PI, credit hire, litigation, housing disrepair etc)
- Understanding of CI/CD practices for Proclaim or similar systems.
- Experience in highly automated or workflow‑driven legal environments.
