Operating out of 11 key ports and logistics centres across the UK, we are committed to retaining and developing talent nationwide.

A vacancy has arisen for a dedicated and driven Process Engineer at PD Ports to work within the Ports & Unitised Team and as a part of the IT Department.

Location: Teesside
Functional Area: IT
Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Providing day‑to‑day support across multiple operational teams, ensuring BAU activities run smoothly and service levels are consistently achieved.
  • Contributing to a variety of projects, offering process expertise and helping drive successful delivery.
  • Designing forward‑thinking and scalable solutions that address real‑world challenges.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders, both inside and outside the organisation.
  • Carrying out research, documentation, testing, and implementation of changes.
Key Qualifications
  • Communicates clearly and confidently, with strong engagement skills across all levels of the organisation.
  • Welcomes change and actively seeks opportunities to improve efficiency in processes and ways of working.
  • Holds a relevant degree or brings equivalent professional experience that demonstrates strong analytical and technical capability.
  • Can think, write and present information in a structured, logical and persuasive way, adapting their style to the audience.
  • Has hands‑on experience working within a highly technical environment, ideally with exposure to complex systems or operational processes.
