Our client is a globally recognised sovereign investment firm with a long‑term mandate and a multi‑asset investment strategy. With a presence in major financial centres, the firm invests across public and private markets—including private equity, credit, infrastructure, and real estate.

Known for its disciplined, research‑driven approach and strong global partnerships, the organisation operates with a collaborative culture and a focus on fundamental value creation across market cycles.

To support the continued expansion of its private credit platform, our client is looking to hire an Associate and / or Assistant Vice President into its high‑performing London‑based team. The private credit group focuses on a broad range of strategies, including direct lending, opportunistic credit, and special situations, primarily across developed markets.

What the job involves
  • Source, evaluate, and execute investments in senior and subordinated debt instruments
  • Lead due diligence, build financial models, and screen investment ideas
  • Present and discuss potential deals with internal teams
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners throughout the investment process
  • Have exposure across the full investment lifecycle, from deal sourcing to portfolio oversight
Who we are looking for
  • Candidates with at least 2‑3 years of experience in a leading investment bank’s M&A or leveraged finance team, a specialist restructuring or debt advisory firm, or a credit investment firm
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global, team‑oriented environment
  • A strong academic background, with a Bachelor’s degree being the minimum requirement
  • A self‑starter with strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
