Job overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in Adult Mental Health, predominantly in the Adult Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) and in the Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD) to design and deliver a Family Therapies offer.

There are a number of psychological therapy staff working in the CMHTs/ CTPLD and the successful applicant would be part of friendly and supportive teams. More broadly, the psychological therapies community in NHFT is large and vibrant. There are many opportunities for connecting with others and being involved in projects across the trust.

The role may include an aspect of remote working and benefits from arecruitment incentive of £5,000 pro rata for successful candidates over 2.5 years. Initial payment of £2,000 will be made in the 1st month with a subsequent payment of £2,000 made on the 13th month of employment. The remaining £1,000 will be paid out in the 18th month of employment. Terms and conditions apply.

A relocation package is available up to £8, 000, if the successful postholder relocates to Northamptonshire and meet other eligibility criteria. This is subjected to approval.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will work within CMHT Psychological Therapies and CTPLD carrying out a range of family focused activity. There will be the opportunity to supervise CMHT/ CTPLD staff undertaking different forms of family therapy training as well as working with staff on a more informal basis.
