We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Principal Construction Manager to join our esteemed team working with Staffordshire County Council. You’ll be based across our key locations in Gailey, Lichfield, Stone and Leek. Collaborating closely with our client, Staffordshire County Council, Amey takes pride in delivering top-tier construction and infrastructure services across the local road network.
Our Highways business in Staffordshire undertakes major civil engineering works, structural repairs, safety improvements, preventative maintenance, Routine, reactive and cyclical maintenance as well as environmental enhancements, ensuring the network remains safe, efficient, and sustainable. As Principal Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in senior leadership team, overseeing the successful delivery of complex construction projects, structural maintenance projects, preventative maintenance and bridge repairs. You’ll ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices while driving innovation and sustainability. This role demands strong commercial acumen, exceptional stakeholder management, and a commitment to health and safety.
The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week with regular travel across Staffordshire and on-site presence.
