Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
📍 Location: Scarborough
💰 Pay: £13.68 – £15 per hour
📆 Start Date: ASAP
📄 Contract: Short-term, flexible cover

We are looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant to support a mainstream school in Scarborough. You will help pupils engage in learning, assist with daily routines and work alongside the class teacher to maintain a positive environment for all children.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide small-group and whole-class support as directed by the teacher.
  • Assist with phonics, reading and basic intervention activities.
  • Encourage pupil independence, confidence and participation.
  • Help with classroom organisation, preparation and routines.
  • Support a calm, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
