As we continue to respond to increased customer demands and requirements, we are hiring Preventative Maintenance Level 1 Technicians at our Kingston location. Our busy, team-oriented shops place a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. The service department is an important area of our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available, as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff. Our service technicians are critical to the success of our customer relationships.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $22.15 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Majority of duties will be cleaning, washing and inspection of our rental construction equipment;
• Complete quality assurance inspections on equipment; Ensuring all equipment is in clean working condition with all appropriate components.
• Testing and operation of construction equipment, including, but not limited to, assessment of damages;
• Perform preventative maintenance on construction equipment, including, but not limited to, maintaining and servicing rental equipment, oil and filter changes;
• Complete required documentation and data entry;
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work area, shop and branch;
• Load and unload customer rental equipment when required;
• Maintain a safe working environment;
• Assisting other technicians as needed;
• Follow all Health and Safety policies, while maintaining a safe work environment;
• Other duties as assigned.
