About the job

This position is needed to partner closely with sales, solutions engineering, and enterprise strategists to consult on complex, multi-product opportunities. You will scope, design, and validate how complex multi-product solutions fit into the client’s ecosystem and help paint the long-term Twilio vision for our customers. You will be a critical partner cross‑functionally, working with product, engineering, and marketing to identify and share technology patterns and shifts from our clients (and prospects) to influence product strategy.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Develop your expertise of the Twilio platform, use cases and buyer personas, while staying current on identity verification, security, fraud, and compliance trends
  • Assess and steer customers toward leveraging multiple products & solutions at Twilio
  • Scope, design, and validate complex multi‑product solution architecture with an emphasis on:
  • Identity verification and authentication flows (e.g. account security, MFA, API‑based identity)
  • Secure‑by‑design architectures that reduce fraud and abuse
  • Compliance, data residency, and audit readiness
  • Build compelling presentations to secure the Technical Win in partnership with core sales, core SE, and Enterprise Strategist teams
  • Support cross‑functional teams on product specific knowledge, enablement, strategy, and solutions / use cases (Sales, Presales, Marketing, Enablement, CS, Product, etc.)
  • Support core sales and solutions engineering team members on value‑selling strategies and complex solution sales
  • Document recent patterns and technology shifts with our clients and prospects to influence Product and R&D strategy and roadmap via GTM interlock and PDLC processes

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex solutions sales cycles including novel solution scoping, design, and validation
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration and influencing skills
  • 4+ years of progressive presales experience, including complex solution architecture
  • 2+ years of demonstrated expertise in identity verification, authentication, security, or trust‑related domains, including topics such as:
  • Account security and authentication flows (MFA, OAuth, JWT, APIs)
  • Fraud and risk signals
  • Network or application security
  • Enterprise regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, DORA
  • Strong track record of excellent verbal and written communication skills, and driving deal strategy with creative and compelling storytelling
  • Confidence influencing highly skilled and experienced audiences including C‑level executives
  • Experience documenting and sharing customer trends and requests with product
  • Experience working in an overlay or specialist presales capacity
  • Experience collaborating with product on strategy, positioning, and roadmap
  • Experience across multiple product areas within a platform or API‑based company
  • Familiarity with trust‑related capabilities such as identity verification, authentication, fraud/risk signals, encryption or key management, audit logging, incident response, and regulatory compliance (e.g. privacy, A2P/10DLC)

Location

This role will be remote and based in the UK.

Travel

We prioritize connection and opportunities build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 20% travel is anticipated to help you connect in‑person in a meaningful way.
