We’re looking for a skilled and trustworthy Bicycle Mechanic to join our team 2–3 days per week. You’ll be responsible for bike servicing, repairs and customer interaction — as well as acting as a key holder – opening and closing the shop and overseeing day-to-day workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out bicycle servicing
• Perform workshop cleaning
• Diagnose faults and provide clear, honest repair quotes
• Maintain workshop tools, cleanliness, and parts inventory
• Act as key holder on shift: from time to time open/close the shop, handle end-of-day procedures
• Support community-focused events and build relationships with local cyclists

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2+ years’ experience as a bicycle mechanic (shop or mobile)
• Confident with a wide range of mechanical work (gears, brakes, wheels, etc.)
• Friendly, customer-first attitude
• Trustworthy and self-motivated
• Strong communication and time management
• Comfort using digital booking/inventory tools
• Flexibility to work weekends and cover when staff on holidays

What You’ll Get

• £13–£16 per hour (depending on experience)
• Staff discounts on parts, accessories and coffee.
• Opportunity to grow with a values-driven, community-based team
• Involvement in youth programmes, group rides and café culture
• A role that blends bike mechanics with positive social impact

Join us in fixing bikes, building community, and making cycling accessible to all.
