Job summary

A prestigious automotive dealership is seeking a Porsche Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day functions of the accounts department. You will manage sales and purchase ledgers, cash postings, and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate has accounts experience and strong IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and CDK/Kerridge systems. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work to deadlines, both individually and collaboratively.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an accounts role is advantageous.
  • Enthusiastic, well organized, and diligent.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team.

Job description

As a Porsche Accounts Assistant, you will support the day to day functions of the accounts department from the sales and purchase ledgers to the daily cash postings and bank reconciliations. You will also assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team in other ad-hoc duties where required. Porsche Accounts Assistants work a variety of flexible patterns between Mondays - Friday; however, this sometimes can include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

Previous experience in an accounts role is advantageous along with proficient IT skills. Knowledge of the CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management system and Microsoft Office is also required. Ideally, you will be enthusiastic, well organised, diligent, and able to work to strict deadlines whilst paying attention to detail and working both as an individual and as part of a small team.
