Job summary

A dedicated environmental service provider in Scotland is seeking a Plumber to perform planned preventative maintenance and plumbing repairs. You’ll get 24 days of holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to up to 25 days with years of service.

What you’ll be doing

This is a permanent, full‑time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plumbing systems to a high standard.
  • Undertake tank replacements and plumbing repairs in various commercial and domestic environments.
  • Conduct water sampling and temperature monitoring.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance tasks, diagnosing and resolving issues across commercial plumbing systems.
  • Install, repair, and maintain various plumbing fixtures, TMVs, pipework modification, and remove dead legs.
  • Collaborate with teams, maintain accurate records, and adhere to health and safety regulations.
What we are looking for
  • A City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent) and ideally G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems certification.
  • Proven experience in commercial plumbing and routine water hygiene tasks.
  • Experience with building services, facilities management, or environmental consultancy is also a bonus.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
