Working hours per week: 40 Monday - Friday

What you’ll be doing

As a Civil Engineering Placement Student within our Water and Flood Management Teams, you\'ll be challenged and inspired to reach your full potential while working in a dynamic and stimulating environment. You\'ll gain valuable insight into life at Amey, with the opportunity to apply for our Graduate Programme upon completing your academic studies.

You will work alongside the team and contribute to the following:

  • Undertake any work of a technical nature that falls within ability and competence.
  • Prepare design calculations drawing and documents.
  • Undertake Hydrology and Hydraulic Modelling using best in class software.
  • Carry out site visits, surveys, inspections, and supervise sub-contractors.
  • Prepare feasibility studies, inspection, assessment, and technical reports ensuring compliance with Amey procedures
