Pharmacy Dispenser – FlexiBank
Locations: Weymouth Street Hospital
Hourly Rate: Competitive – Dependent on Skillset and Experience

Phoenix Hospital Group is seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team at Weymouth Street Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity for a flexible work life balance.

Please note: This is a FlexiBank role, working on an as and when required basis. You will help supplement staffing levels during peak periods and provide cover during staff absences or annual leave.

As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will support the delivery of a safe, efficient, and high-quality pharmacy service. You will work closely with our Group Chief Pharmacist and wider multidisciplinary teams to ensure the timely supply of medications, maintain accurate records, and assist with stock management in line with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day running of the hospital pharmacy service
  • Dispense medications accurately and in accordance with prescriptions
  • Assist in stock control, ordering, and inventory management
  • Comply with all relevant legal, professional, and regulatory requirements
  • Work collaboratively with clinical teams to support safe and effective patient care
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 qualification in pharmacy service skills
  • Proven experience in a hospital or healthcare pharmacy setting is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work
  • Knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medications
