Job summary

A private individual in Uckfield is seeking a compassionate companion to assist with paperwork, manage appointments, and provide companionship. Ideal candidates will have experience in neurodiversity and excellent interpersonal skills. This part-time role is flexible, with duties including transportation and supporting the individual in community activities. If employed, you will be entitled to holiday pay.

Qualifications

  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard.
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties.

Responsibilities

  • Help with paperwork and manage appointments.
  • Provide companionship and assist with community access.
  • Collect medication from the pharmacy and go swimming.

Job description

4 hours per week. Days and time to be agreed.

I am a friendly lady in my early 40's. I'm neurodivergent and ideally would like someone who has experience in neurodiversity. I'm looking for a kind and empathic person to help me with paperwork, manage appointments, accessing the community, going for walks, collecting my medication from the pharmacy with me, companionship, and come swimming with me. This will be a rewarding role for the right person.

Duties include:

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
