Job description

We are looking for an experienced People Advisor to join the People Partnering and Relations team.

In this role, you will work across Falmouth University and Falmouth Exeter Plus to provide high quality advice and guidance to our people which has been escalated through our tiered model.

It is essential that you build and maintain strong working relationships as you will be responsible for managing a full and varied caseload related to all aspects of informal and first level employee relations, including supporting managers with undertaking investigations.

You will also contribute to the operational delivery of our people plans, organisational change programmes, as well as completing activities such as job evaluations and using People & Culture dashboard information to support managers.

This busy role will encourage you to proactively and consistently develop your own practice and push the boundaries of your own critical thinking.

Qualifications
  • Degree or CIPD Level 5 qualification or similar experience.
  • Recent and relevant core HR skills and experience related to the role.
  • Influence, tenacity and empathy; with the ability to quickly establish credibility within a large and complex organisation.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • A collaborative and flexible approach to team working.

This position is offered on a full time, permanent basis. This is a busy, people facing role, where an on-campus presence will be required, however, we operate a hybrid flexible approach to working with the opportunity to work from home for part of the week, after induction and initial training has been completed.
