Job summary

Birmingham City Council is seeking a Specialist Teacher for the Physical Support Team (PST) to join their commitment to supporting inclusion of children in mainstream schools across Birmingham. Do you share our commitment to supporting the inclusion of children and young people in mainstream schools and nursery settings?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join the Sensory and Physical Support Team.

The team provides support to families and education settings to raise achievement, promote inclusion and improve access to learning opportunities for children and young people in their local mainstream schools and nursery settings with a physical difficulty and/or medical need across all age ranges, within the city of Birmingham.

Candidates for this post must hold qualified teacher status.

This position will involve working in schools/settings and travelling across the city of Birmingham.

We are committed to the safeguarding of all children and young people. Any offer of employment will be subject to the receipt of a satisfactory enhanced level DBS disclosure, two satisfactory references and successful completion of pre-employment vetting procedures.
