Payments Consultant (Field-Based, Freelance Contractor)
Duration: 2025-10-01 - 2026-10-30

Location: Anywhere in the UK, Manchester (field-based, local travel required) Hours: Part-time (~4 hrs/day, mainly evenings, flexible schedule) Compensation: £1,000/month base + £25 commission per new customer signed (self-employed, invoiced monthly)

About the Role: We’re looking for outgoing and motivated Part-Time Sales Representatives to join NeroPAY, a growing fintech company helping small businesses save money on card payments. In this role, you’ll visit and engage with local shops, cafes, and restaurants in your area to introduce our payment solutions, explain their benefits, and assist merchants in getting started.

This is a freelance contractor role with no office requirement. You’ll submit short daily reports and participate in a biweekly video meeting with your manager to receive updates and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit and engage with local shops and restaurants to build strong relationships with business owners.
  • Introduce NeroPAY’s payment solutions and explain product benefits in clear, simple terms.
  • Support merchants with the onboarding process when needed.
  • Record and submit short daily field notes to track activity.
  • Participate in biweekly video meetings with your manager to receive feedback and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Confident communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
  • Interest in sales, retail, or fintech (experience is a bonus but not required).
  • Availability mainly in the evenings (flexible hours).
  • Reliability in submitting reports and attending scheduled check-ins.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK as a self-employed sole trader and handle own tax/NI contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock and track device inventory.
  • Assist with HR admin (scheduling interviews, preparing onboarding docs).
  • Organise meetings with external partners (law firms, vendors).
  • Keep company files, CRM systems, and reporting tools up to date.
  • Support financial and administrative tasks, including invoicing, filing, and reporting.
  • Assist with office organisation and internal communications.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office/Google Workspace.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Problem-solving attitude and willingness to “get things done.”

We’re seeking a proactive Customer Support Associate to serve as the primary point of contact for our merchants, delivering exceptional service and resolving issues efficiently. You’ll play a key role in shaping the customer experience at NeroPAY by supporting merchants and ensuring smooth communication between clients and our internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer queries via WhatsApp, Facebook, email, and phone.
  • Clearly explain pricing structures and product features.
  • Log issues into the CRM and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain friendly, professional communication with clients.
