Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef in a high volume setting.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety and COSHH regulations.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality catering and hospitality service.
• Support the Sous and Head Chef in food preparation and presentation.
• Maintain excellent food safety, allergen, and hygiene standards.
• Oversee kitchen cleanliness and security.
• Support with stock ordering.
• Work flexibly to meet changing business needs.
• Assist in staff training and participate in performance reviews.

Skills

Proven experience as a Chef in a high volume setting

You’ll play a key role in delivering a high standard of food service to staff and guests, ensuring all operations meet the required specifications for safety, quality, and service.

What you'll do:

• Provide a high-quality catering and hospitality service, ensuring prompt and courteous service at all times
• Support the Sous and Head Chef in food preparation and presentation across all meal services
• Maintain excellent food safety, allergen, and hygiene standards
• Oversee kitchen cleanliness and security, ensuring all equipment and workspaces are clean and safe
• Support with stock ordering and assist with budget control where required
• Work flexibly to meet changing business needs, including special functions
• Assist in staff training and participate in regular performance development reviews
