Responsibilities

  • Be fully aware of the usual trading terms of the retail centre.
  • Maintain surcharge ledger and ensure that parts sent to manufacture are clean.
  • Update the aftersales manager on a monthly basis regarding outstanding customer orders.
  • Report any stock damage or losses to the aftersales manager.
  • Ensure that parts are checked against delivery notes and correctly stored.
  • Check all parts invoices against dispatch notes weekly.
  • Ensure old units are returned to manufacture properly.

Group1 Reading is looking for a Parts Supervisor.

Working in our parts department as a Parts Supervisor you will be a key part핑 of the Retail Centre. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills to deal with customers face to face or over the phone, providing outstanding customer service to all customers.

As part of a successful, global automotive group, you’ll broaden your experience across both sites and brands. And with the right support from us, you’ll be able to progress as high as you can aim.

What you’ll do day to day
  • Be fully aware of the usual trading terms of the retail centre.
  • Maintain surcharge ledger, piger that parts sent to manufacture are clean and drained of oil.
  • Update the aftersales manager on monthly basis on outstanding customer orders etc.
  • Report any stock damage or stock losses to the aftersales manager.
  • Ensure that parts are correctly checked against delivery notes and that they are binned accordingly and that all orders are checked.
  • Check all pars invoices against despatch notes on weekly basis.
  • Ensure all old units are returned to manufacture in the prescribed manner.
