A family-owned automotive retail group in Swindon is seeking a Parts Advisor to manage sourcing and supply of vehicle parts for customers and workshops. You will ensure accuracy in stock deliveries, maintain records, and quote prices for parts. An understanding of vehicle parts and a track record in a similar role is desirable. Job description

Hours- Monday to Friday - 7am - 4pm (flexible) Saturdays 8am-12pm (1 in 3 paid as overtime)

Job Purpose

The role of the Parts Advisor is to:

• Source and supply manufacturer vehicle parts efficiently for customers and workshop vehicles, meeting agreed sales volume targets.
• Receive, record and bin parts and consumables from manufacturer and other suppliers ensuring accuracy of stock deliveries against agreed orders.
• Identify, locate, invoice and issue parts and consumables to customers and other departments using the computer system.
• Pro-actively source parts.
• Supply accurate and detailed parts quotations to internal departments, retail and trade customers.
• Administer parts invoices ensuring invoiced items
• Manage and control all parts administration requirements.
• Maintain standards in line with brand standards requirements.
• Maintain relevant systems always ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the business.
