Job summary

A community organization in Sheffield is looking for a part-time Citywide provision leader to oversee service-user participation and project management. Job description
Agushe: Title: Citywide provision. Located at Sheaf Bank Business Park, Unit R7b, Riverside Block, 20 Prospect Road, Sheffield, S2 3EN

£30,192 for 28 hours (pro‑rata from £37,740 full time).

Part‑time 28 hours, including regular evening work and occasional weekend and residential work (with notice).

Permanent contract (subject to funding).

Deadline: Sunday 1st February 2026.

Background checks: Successful applicants must undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Responsibilities
  1. Take the lead in ensuring that service‑user participation is central to SYC’s strategic planning Kamera, določeno interná sp­na, and service delivery; service users are actively involved and participate in decision‑making processes.
  2. Guarantee that service‑users have a voice and influence in local and national service and policy development.
  3. Lead and develop the Action Group, ensuring project objectives are delivered on time and to budget.
  4. Collaborate with the Co‑CEOs to be responsible for SYC’s development and strategic work to increase the identification and improve support for young carers and young people impacted by familial substance misuse, locally and nationally; this includes developing and facilitating training packages and maintaining relationships with relevant organisations, participating in strategic boards, coordinating networks, and planning & delivering campaign work.
  5. Take responsibility係 for the education development project.
  6. Provide line management/supervision to the SYC’s Education Development Worker (and future Development Workers, should funding be secured).
  7. Contribute to the development of resources, including online and offline publications, relevant to SYC, its service users, and other key stakeholders.
  8. Act as Deputy Safeguarding Lead alongside other members of the management team, working in accordance with SYC child‑protectionunes and other relevant policies to safeguard service users and staff.
  9. Advise the Co‑CEOs on organisational development as a member of the management team.
  10. Support the Co‑CEOs and Fundraising Manager in funding applications and funders’ monitoring reports.
  11. Supplement management of staff, students, and volunteers as required and agreed.
