Job description

We are a dynamic, creative and fast-paced PR agency based in Bristol, delivering impactful communications for a range of ambitious clients across both consumer and B2B sectors. Our team thrives on collaboration, creativity and strategic thinking – and we’re now looking for a talented Marketing Manager to help drive our own brand and growth story.

What you’ll do: As our Marketing Manager, you’ll take the reins of our marketing strategy and make sure our brand shines as brightly as our client work. Working closely with the Business Development Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you’ll be at the heart of how we show up online, in the press, at events and beyond.

You’ll:

  • Develop and deliver our content strategy, aligning it with business and brand ambitions.
  • Lead our social media presence crafting engaging, insight-led posts that cut through the noise.
  • Manage award entries that celebrate our people, our campaigns and our clients’ success stories.
  • Oversee our website, from content to performance, keeping it fresh, optimised and reflective of who we are.
  • Partner with the Business Development Manager to align marketing with new business goals and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to drive thought leadership and profile-raising activity.
  • Track, measure and report on marketing performance, learning, adapting and optimising as you go.

About you: You’re a confident and creative marketing professional with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach. Experienced within PR, communications or the wider creative industries, you understand how to make brands stand out in a crowded market. You’re fluent in content strategy, social media and digital marketing, with a natural flair for writing and storytelling. Highly organised and adaptable, you balance independence with collaboration, thriving in a fast-paced, ideas-led environment. Above all, you bring curiosity, creativity and commercial awareness, combining a love of marketing with a drive to make a measurable impact.

What you get when you are part of the team: We believe brilliant work deserves brilliant perks. Here’s what we offer to help you feel supported, rewarded and ready to thrive — in and out of work:

  • A competitive salary that reflects your talent
  • 25 days’ holiday to start with — rising to 29 after two years (pro rata for part-time)
  • An extra 5 days’ holiday every 5 years you’re with us (because loyalty matters)
  • Office closed over Christmas – and no, it doesn’t come out of your holiday
  • 5% matched pension to help you plan ahead
  • Healthcare cashback scheme to keep you feeling your best
  • Generous family leave packages for life’s big moments
  • Flexible, hybrid working – because we get that life isn’t 9 to 5
  • Comprehensive training and development to help you grow your career
  • Share incentive plan – have a stake in what we’re building
  • Performance-based rewards for great work
  • Wellbeing support that goes beyond the basics – including charity days and mental health resources
  • Celebrations, shout-outs and team recognition – we love a win, and we love to celebrate it

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Speed: We believe diversity of thought and experience is the foundation of brilliant work. We’re committed to building an inclusive culture where everyone feels seen, heard and valued — whatever their background, identity or lived experience.

We’re proud to be a Disability Confident Committed (Level 1) Employer. That means we’ve taken clear steps to make our recruitment process inclusive and accessible. We actively promote our vacancies, and we offer interviews to disabled candidates who meet the minimum criteria.

This is just one part of our commitment to equity and inclusion — because the best ideas come from teams that reflect the world around them.
