We are looking for a Parish Grants Officer to join our full‑time, permanent team at the Diocese of Westminster in London (SW1P), working Monday‑Friday 9:00 am‑5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

As a Parish Grants Officer, you will lead and manage the National Lottery Awards For All grant programme across the Diocese. Guiding parishes through the full application process, you will help them secure up to £20,000 for projects that strengthen community life. Ensuring parishes are fully supported from first enquiry to successful submission, you will empower them to deliver initiatives that bring people together, improve community spaces, and support those most affected by the cost‑of‑living crisis. You’ll work closely with parishes, priests, and key stakeholders, providing support with bid writing, promoting funding opportunities, and proactively building a strong pipeline of prospective applicants.

  • Support grant‑fundraising capacity across the Diocese
  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Report on monitoring returns and internal KPIs
Qualifications
  • Competency in fundraising
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong bid‑writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience preparing reports and budgets
  • The ability to travel to parishes and attend meetings and events
