What you’ll do
- Assist with the preparation or review of reports on title and certificates of title
- Drafting of facility and security documentation based on client templates
- Managing the process for satisfying conditions precedent on financing transactions
- Support with post completion formalities including land registrations and SDLT returns
- Provide an excellent client service
- Ensure deadlines are met and quality of work is maintained
- Offer further support to our fee earners and team on more complex matters (with support)
What we’re looking for
- Some paralegal experience (ideally property or banking related) along with the desire to work in our Islamic Finance team
- Ambition and drive, with a proactive, problem solving attitude
- Excellent clear, concise and effective written communication skills together with great attention to detail
- Confident communication skills and the ability to reassure and act calmly and professionally at all times
- The ability to develop and demonstrate commercial awareness and business aptitude in making decisions on a day to day basis
- A commercial, client focused approach, with confident, professional internal and external client facing skills
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Well organised with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
- The desire to work effectively with a friendly, collaborative team in a multi-site business
