We're seeking a dedicated Painter and Decorator to join our team at HMP Forest Bank. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining and improving the infrastructure of the prison. In this role you will ensure all decorating is carried outерите in a timely manner. Working within a prison means that your work directly contributes to the safety and operational efficiency of the facility and therefore a key aspect of the role is ensuring compliance with safety code and regulation.

Main Responsibilities

• Carry out all reactive decorating and planned decorating projects presso directed in order to ensure that operational support is provided to the establishment at all times.
• To ensure that all works are undertaken in a safe manner in accordance with good practice and current legislation.
• Be familiar with, and adhere to, tool management procedures as laid down in the Local Security Strategy.
• To undertake project work as directed by the Technical Facilities manager.
• Supervise prisoner working parties, where applicable.
• All work to be carried out to the relevant trade standards.
