Join our team at Terex Omagh and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Paint Shop Operative (Spray Painter) to contribute to our Paint Shop team.

As a Paint Shop Operative (Spray Painter) at Terex, based in Omagh, you’ll play a pivotal role in producing equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.

Responsibilities
  • Brushes or sprays paint to cover scratches, chips or repairs in painted parts or finish of machines.
  • Cleans and prepares surface for painting using cleaning solution, solvent, sander and scraper.
  • Applies thin coat of finish material such as paint or lacquer to sanded area.
  • Sprays or touches up finish coats to blend spots or imperfections.
  • Prime and apply base coat to a high standard.
  • Checks and polishes components with minimal supervision.
Qualifications

The candidate should have relevant experience as a Spray Painter including previous bodywork experience, knowledge of paint preparation within an engineering environment, and be hardworking, a good team player with excellent communication skills and good attention to detail. They should be willing to develop their skills on an ongoing basis and available to work overtime as needed.

Working Hours

39 Hour Week. Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 3:45pm, Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm
