Job summary

A leading charity organization in the UK is seeking caring individuals for a flexible and sessional role, supporting children and vulnerable adults in police custody. Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication skills and reside within 30 minutes of designated police stations. The position is hourly paid, with sessions primarily during the night from midnight to 6 am. Successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check. This is an opportunity to gain insights into careers in the Police, Legal Services, or Social Care.

Qualifications

  • Must live within 30 minutes of designated police stations.
  • Willingness to work overnight shifts.
  • Ability to support vulnerable individuals in custody.

Responsibilities

  • Support children and vulnerable individuals in a custody environment.
  • Provide care and compassion during sessions.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of children and adults.

This is a sessional role to meet the requirements of the Custody sites with no guarantee of hours.
