Due to significant growth across our Transmission & Distribution Ltd UK business, we are building a talent pool of Overhead Lines (OHL) Project Managers for UK-wide opportunities. We are seeking first appointment and experienced OHL Project Managers with extensive experience in delivering 132/275/400kV OHL projects to join Wood Transmission & Distribution Ltd, focusing on overseeing project management, delivery, safety, financial compliance, and timeliness. As a first appointment or established Overhead Lines (OHL) Project Manager, you will join us at the forefront of delivering critical electrical infrastructure. You will ideally be from a construction/electricity supply industry background, with experience in tendering and delivering large 132/275/400kV OHL projects, supporting our clients UK wide.
Reporting to the Senior OHL Project Manager, you will oversee project management and delivery, ensuring safety, financial compliance, and timeliness. Your role will involve upholding high standards in project execution, aligning with T&D and client objectives. You will lead project teams through all phases of design, construction, commissioning and close-out. Essential skills include programme/project management, planning, and managing design requirements and budgets for OHL projects. Familiarity with client/DNO technical standards and policies is preferable.
