Job Description

A qualified optometrist will play a key role in delivering brilliant patient care using the latest technology. You will work alongside experienced colleagues, support the community with clinical excellence, and handle a diverse range of tasks such as leading a clinic, responding to triage, and mentoring colleagues.

Key responsibilities
  • Leading clinics and delivering outstanding patient care
  • Using the latest testing technology to assess eye health and provide expert advice
  • Providing enhanced services, from triage support to advanced assessments, depending on store needs
  • Offering clinical support to colleagues on the shop floor
  • Collaborating with external healthcare professionals
  • Keeping your clinical knowledge up to date and sharing it with others
  • Playing a key role in your store’s leadership team, bringing energy and insight to every shift
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
  • We’re looking for optometrists who are confident, compassionate, and always focused on doing the right thing for patients.
  • GOC registered (or expecting to be within 6 months)
  • NHS performer number (or working towards it)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine interest in patient care and team collaboration
It would be great if you also have
  • Experience supporting enhanced services
  • A strong understanding of local clinical networks
