You’ll work with the store team to deliver high-standard clinical care and customer service to meet both patient needs and business objectives. And of course, you’ll be a key part in creating a warm and friendly environment for our customers and our team.

Specsavers in Dumfries are looking for a forward-thinking Optometrist. Our experienced team use the very latest clinical technology which allows them to improve patient outcomes. At Specsavers in Dumfries, we have a clear-sighted vision to transform eye health in our community. As our next Optometrist you will have the opportunity to provide a first-class experience to every one of our patients.Specsavers Dumfries is a 25-year-old family-owned store. Many of their optometrists are home grown and development of their team is at heart of what they do, so if you are looking to become IP qualified or become a partner yourself, the management team will help you achieve your goals. The store pride themselves on providing a flexible working environment, therefore applicants requiring flexible hours or part time hours are welcome. With 5 test rooms, 2 OCT machines and the current potential to expand into hear care, things are looking bright at Specsavers Dumfries.

We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role. Firstly, you’ll need to be registered as a member of the General Optical Council (keeping this up to date).
