Think you know DHL? Think again! We're not just about delivering parcels. DHL Supply Chain is the world's leading logistics company and our people are the unsung heroes who keep the cogs turning and the country running smoothly.

We're now looking for an Operations Support Manager to lead the heartbeat of our site — driving excellence across planning, flow, facilities, and customer engagement, while ensuring our support functions are fully resourced, compliant, and future-ready.

Responsibilities
  • Providing strategic leadership across operational support functions to ensure seamless coordination of planning, workflow, facilities, and resource management — all aimed at driving peak performance across the operation.
  • Leading customer calls and engagement activities, acting as a trusted point of contact to review performance, address issues, and drive continuous improvement aligned with joint business plans.
  • Ensuring the operation is fully resourced, with highly trained and qualified colleagues in key support roles, including agency management, contractor relationships, and oversight of automated systems and third-party engineering partners (e.g. DEMATIC).
  • Managing all non-warehouse operational functions, including infrastructure, compliance, safety, and security, to support the General Manager in delivering site-wide performance and profitability.
  • Driving continuous improvement and site development, using structured tools and employee feedback to identify opportunities, implement changes, and support long-term operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.
Who this role would suit
  • Operational leaders with experience in consumer food environments who understand the importance of quality, compliance, and process discipline in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting would be advantageous.
  • Professionals with strong stakeholder management skills, capable of navigating complex relationships across customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Individuals with exposure to automation and third-party engineering environments, ideally with experience managing support functions around high-tech warehouse operations.
  • Leaders with a strong foundation in managing complex environments, who are ready to broaden their leadership scope and take on wider strategic responsibilities across support functions.
Why join us?
  • Access to the company car scheme, or car allowance
  • Join our generous pension scheme and benefit from an 8% employer contribution, alongside a 4% employee contribution
  • Free confidential 24/7 GP consultations
