A leading energy provider in the UK is seeking a technically skilled Operations Engineer to join the Operations team in Broadway. The role is focused on providing technical leadership across Electrical, Instrumentation, and Mechanical disciplines. Qualifications

  • Strong Electrical, Instrumentation and/or Mechanical engineering knowledge.
  • Experience working within a formal permit-to-work system.
  • Excellent project, planning and financial management skills.
  • Deep commitment to personal and process safety.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and coaching to operational teams.
  • Act as Authorising Engineer for multi-discipline permits to work.
  • Conduct competency assessments and workplace evaluations.
  • Lead defect resolution and prioritise maintenance interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and engineering standards.
