Job summary

A leading engineering company in Scotland is seeking a Mechanical Fitter for a permanent, full-time role based in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will carry out inspections, repairs, and testing on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment. Qualifications

• Completed a mechanical bias apprenticeship or formal qualification.
• Solid experience in the repair and maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical equipment.
• Prior automotive or agricultural experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, repair and test hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workshop and ensure equipment is in good order.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding project timelines.
• Collaborate with team members across departments.
• Work on-site as required.
