We are seeking an experienced and dedicated One-to-One Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for:
Supporting a Child who is on the Autism Pathway: Providing tailored support, helping them navigate the school day and engage with their learning activities. Using innovative and effective strategies to encourage the child's learning and participation in the classroom. You will also be implementing positive behaviour management strategies to support the child in managing their emotions and behaviour. This will also include maintaining a safe and calming space for the child to use when they need a break or some time to regulate their emotions. You will be working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other staff members to ensure the child's needs are met and they are included in all aspects of school life, establishing strong, trusting relationships with the child, their family, and the wider school community.
