The Opportunity

As Occupational Health & Wellbeing Manager, you’ll shape and lead innovative health and wellbeing programs that ensure a safe, compliant, and thriving workplace across Samworth Brothers. This pivotal role empowers you to drive positive change, collaborating with diverse teams to champion colleague wellbeing, regulatory excellence, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and review occupational health policies, procedures, and programs in line with legal requirements and best practice.
  • Conduct health risk assessments, workplace inspections, and advise on health hazards and controls.
  • Deliver health promotion initiatives and wellbeing programs to foster a healthy workplace culture.
  • Advise management and HR on employee health matters, fitness for work, reasonable adjustments, and return‑to‑work processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (e.g., Health and Safety at Work Act, GDPR) and maintain accurate, confidential health records.

  • Strong skills in conducting assessments, reporting, and providing expert advice to both employees and management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to use analytics to identify trends and drive data‑driven solutions.
