About the Role

Apply for the Occupational Health Advisor role at RPS. This is a permanent, site‑based position based in Daventry, with two days on site and the remainder on a hybrid model.

About the Team

The Occupational Health business is a team of qualified Occupational Health Nurses, Doctors, Technicians and Advisors who promote well‑being through risk‑based health surveillance, wellness, health screening and case management. We limit case‑management assessments to six per day to maintain high quality and manageability.

About You

You will deliver consultations covering fitness for work, absence management and employee assistance programmes. You are passionate about solving critical health matters, enjoy variety, and value being part of a supportive team.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive Occupational Health services to client companies.
  • Coordinate defined Occupational Health activities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Prevent adverse health effects from workplace activities through specialist skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain personal Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to preserve NMC registration.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
  • Extensive experience in OH service delivery including health surveillance, case management, screenings (audiometry, spirometry, skin management).
  • Willingness to undertake personal CPD for NMC registration.
  • High degree of self‑motivation and management.
  • Strong organisational and team‑working skills.
  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Office Suite.
  • Leadership by example within a team context.
Qualifications
  • Registered General Nurse with a post‑registration qualification in Occupational Health at Certificate, Diploma or Degree level.
