A leading educational service provider in Penryn is seeking a Nursery Nurse to join its dedicated team at the Nursery. The role involves delivering a nurturing environment for children aged 6 months to five years, ensuring quality care and active participation in daily curriculum activities. Candidates should ideally possess a Level 3 Early Years qualification and previous childcare experience, alongside a flexible working approach. This position is permanent and part-time, offering a supportive work culture across a vibrant academic community.
Falmouth Exeter Plus are seeking to appoint a Nursery Nurse to join the close‑knit team at our Nursery at our Penryn campus. Our unique setting provides a warm, nurturing environment and high‑quality childcare for children aged 6 months to five years. Ofsted rated ‘Good’, our nurseries are extremely popular and are led by a dedicated team.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver the daily curriculum in compliance with the Nursery’s standards, policies, and procedures and in line with the requirements of Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will ensure that all daily activities are conducted in a way which provides a happy, stimulating, and secure learning environment for the children.
The successful candidate for this role will ideally hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent, however candidates possessing a level 2 will also be considered. You should possess previous experience of working with children, a commitment to maintaining high standards of care, confidentiality and initiative, as well as a flexible approach towards working hours.
Due to the nature of the role, you will also be required to undergo an Enhanced with Regulated Activity Disclosure & Barring Service Check.
This is a position offered on a permanent, part‑time, 22.5 hours per week contract.
