Location: Lakeside Thurrock

Salary: £11.75 per hour

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours), Part-time (different shift patterns available, please talk to us), Permanent

The Role:

An Ofsted ‘Good’ rated early years setting that provides exceptional care and education to their children is looking for a Level 3 Qualified Practitioner to join the team. Key Responsibilities:

• Create a warm, stimulating, and safe learning environment
• Help to plan and implement engaging activities that promote children’s development
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
• Build positive relationships with children and parents
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to ensure high-quality care
• Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations and safeguarding procedures
• Support your team, and uphold positive working relationships and be an effective role model
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
• Knowledge of child protection, health and safety, equal opportunities and SEN/Inclusion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of early childhood development
• Support safe, high-quality education and care for the children
