Nordic walking is a face-to-face 6-week programme designed to help participants transition from inactivity to activity in a gentle way. It is led by a qualified Nordic walking instructor, and volunteers will support participants referred into this program, which takes place once a week on Thursdays.

Practical Considerations: This role involves accompanying patients on walks; it is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Purpose of this role:
The rehabilitation team includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Rehab Assistants, and other Volunteers. Volunteers will support a 6-week Nordic walking programme aimed at helping inactive individuals become active, led by a qualified instructor, starting on 11th September.
