Nightshift Cleaner

Location: Johnnie Walker, 145 Princes Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4BL

Hourly Rate: £16.55

Working Hours: 24.5 hours per week, rolling 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 21:30–05:00

Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time

Job Introduction

Sodexo is currently looking for a Nightshift Cleaner to join our dedicated cleaning team at the Johnnie Walker site in Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and values a clean and safe environment.

As a Nightshift Cleaner, you'll play an essential role in maintaining hygiene standards and supporting the wider team during out-of-hours operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, and washroom cleaning.
• Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standard and in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Replenish cleaning materials and toiletries as required.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Report any issues or maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and ensure documentation is accurately completed.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous cleaning experience is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good timekeeping and reliability.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a cleaning environment.
• A driving licence is not required but may be helpful due to shift timings.
