Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic shop math, ability to read a tap measure and utilize a protractor.
• Ability to understand blueprints to fabricate parts to specification.
• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs. and perform bending and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabrication machines in accordance with SOP.
• Perform designated maintenance functions and assume ownership for quality.
• Participate in training and perform daily 5S activities.

Skills

Knowledge of basic shop math

Ability to read and comprehend blueprints

Calculate tonnage for punching and shearing

Ability to identify various types and gauges of steel

Ability to operate overhead hoist

Education

1,000 hours of trade school
