About The Role

Night Care Team Leader

Location: Wickmeads Residential Home, Tuckton, Bournemouth, BH6 4LG

Pay rate: £14.15 to £15.35 per hour + paid breaks.

Hours: Full time or part time hours available

Shifts: 19:45-08:00 (including alternate weekends)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Care Team Leader to join the team at Wickmeads, our residential care home, located a stone's throw from the idyllic Tuckton Gardens and River Stour, Christchurch, Dorset.

Join Our Team: The team at Wickmeads, are keen to meet a natural leader within our caring profession! Someone who can make a positive impact on the lives of our residents – you’ll also need to be able to inspire and nurture your team to be at their best every day. You’ll have completed an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and be fully competent in medication administration.

What you will be doing:
  • Plan and manage delivery of quality care to our residents alongside a team of Senior Care and Care Assistants
  • Ensure your team are supported and have guidance throughout their shift
  • Administration of medication to residents
  • Liaising with external medical professionals and resident’s families
  • Ensuring care is delivered to the highest standards in line with Care South's policies
