New general manager appointed for The Mall at Maidstone

Overview

Capital & Regional has appointed Gavin Cockayne as the new general manager at The Mall Maidstone. He will succeed Andy Davy who is retiring from the role after 11 years with the company.

Background

With over 20 years experience in the retail sector, Cockayne previously worked in general manager roles at Debenhams and New Look in a major London shopping centre and at Topshop’s flagship store on London’s Oxford Street.

Transition of responsibilities

Cockayne will be assuming all of Davy’s responsibilities.

About Andy Davy

During his time at The Mall at Maidstone, Davy managed the complete refurbishment and repurposing of retail space at the centre. He also founded and chaired the Maidstone Business Improvement District and worked closely with retail industry body Revo.
