As Riverside continues to grow, so do our opportunities. We are now looking for a motivated and ambitious New Car Sales Executive to join our BYD Wakefield showroom. This role offers an exciting pathway for the right individual to develop into a New Car Controller, working closely with the Brand Manager to drive performance and success for the BYD brand.

Working from the BYD Wakefield showroom, you will play a key a role in supporting and delivering new car sales performance in line with BYD brand standards. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing position, requiring a strong showroom presence and the ability to naturally engage with customers throughout the entire sales journey. You will actively support the new car sales team while ensuring consistent delivery of volume, finance and customer experience targets.

You will:
  • Support day‑to‑day new car sales operations from the showroom floor, maintaining a strong and visible presence
  • Work closely with the Brand Manager to deliver and exceed new car sales performance objectives
  • Engage confidently with customers, building rapport and guiding them through the sales process
  • Structure and stack deals effectively to maximise performance and profitability
  • Prepare and submit finance proposals accurately and efficiently
  • Manage pay‑outs and ensure all administration is completed to a high standard
  • Maintain strong customer relationships, delivering an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint
  • Support the wider sales team to ensure consistent achievement of volume, finance and customer satisfaction targets

Once you have demonstrated the ability to consistently sustain strong performance over time, there will be a clear progression opportunity to New Car Sales Controller for the right individual.

You will need to hold a full UK driving licence.
