Job summary

Qualifications

  • 6 months formal neonatal care experience in a hospital.
  • Knowledge and understanding of data protection confidentiality.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Support babies during clinical procedures, including hygiene needs.
  • Communicate effectively with families.
  • Manage time effectively while prioritizing care needs.

Skills

Approachable manner with good interpersonal skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize workload
Ability to work without direct supervision
Understanding of the role and own professional boundaries
Able to identify when to elevate issues/concerns

Education

GCSE Maths Grades A-C, Levels 4-9, Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent
Care Certificate
