Job summary

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of mechanical systems in complex properties.
• Ability to participate in the on‑call rota.
• Experience of working in an NHS environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and repair services to Trust properties.
• Participate in the Estates out of hours on‑call service.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained to current requirements.

Mechanical (H&C) water systems knowledge

Health and safety legislation

Attention to detail

Multi-skilled mechanical experience

Education

NVQ Level 3 (mechanical bias)

Successful completion of a recognized mechanical bias apprenticeship

Numeracy and literacy to Level 2

Tools

Gas Safe legislation knowledge

Water Regulation Advisory Scheme knowledge
