Qualifications

• Familiarity with woodworking machinery, especially beam saws and edge banders.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable).
• Valid UK driving licence (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and emergency repairs on beam saws and edge banders.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
• Support production teams with technical expertise.

Skills

Proven experience in a multiskilled engineering role (mechanical/electrical)

Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Education

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering

Apprenticeship in engineering or manufacturing
