Role: Multi-Skilled Operator, Biffa Bradford

Salary: £34,000 per annum, based on 45 hours per week

Location: Biffa Bradford

Working Pattern:

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position. The role operates on a rotating shift pattern, with staff rotating weekly between the following shifts:

  • Early shift: 06:00 to 15:30
  • Late shift: 08:00 to 17:30

A Quick Look at the Role:

This is a hands‑on operational role where your contribution plays a key part in the day‑to‑day running of the site. Full training will be provided, along with opportunities to develop your skills and progress your career within Biffa.

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • As part of the role, the MSO will be required to operate the clam and a forklift truck. Candidates must have proven experience operating a forklift truck.
  • Communicate any problems or obstacles to your immediate supervisor
  • Strive to reduce waste and increase productivity across all lines
  • Support your shift colleagues in achieving excellence in health and safety, product quality, asset performance, and employee engagement
