Motability Specialist

Position and Compensation

Motability Specialist at Charles Hurst Belfast Nissan – 44 hours per week (rotating schedule). Up to £50,000 OTE (including £25,000 basic plus commission, uncapped).

As a Motability specialist you will develop lasting relationships with our customers; being the first point of contact and a true specialist in Motability products. We are not looking for a high‑flying sales expert or someone with extensive Motability experience – it is important that you’re a quick learner who can guide customers through a knowledgeable buying process with honesty and enthusiasm. This is about supporting our customers and making their buying process as smooth and stress‑free as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key point of contact for Motability customers
  • Communicate via email, phone and in person
  • Achieve sales targets in line with KPIs
  • Identify new business opportunities and support colleagues within your team
  • Listen well and influence and persuade in both positive and negative circumstances
  • Deal with customers with vulnerabilities, helping them choose their new vehicle with patience, professionalism and a people‑first attitude

Ideal Candidate

Our ideal Motability Specialist has previous experience within the automotive industry, a passion for growth and development and the ability to tailor their approach to individual customers’ requirements and offer solutions that fit their specific circumstances. You will stay in regular contact with our Motability customers, managing them even after they move onto our service team, thereby building and maintaining long‑term relationships. You are super‑organised, patient, customer‑focused and target‑driven – a well‑rounded individual with a passion for people.
